FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Womenade?
Womenade is a group of women who get together every two months to raise money for the
kids at daniel. We have a catered dinner and share friendship and network with other like-minded women who share a
deep concern for our children and their special needs.
Why should I join?
We ask you to come to just one meeting and find out for yourself! For a evening of eating good food and making good friends,
it has never been easier to help the children at daniel. Your donations will help promote positive behavior and academics,
increase a child's self-esteem and best of all let them experience what it is like to be a kid! Most of these children have
never experienced all of the things most of us take for granted like going to a baseball game, opening presents for the
holidays or going out to eat at a nice restaurant. These things that are not in the daniel budget and that is where Womenade comes in.
How can I join?
Please come to any scheduled meeting. We are always seeking assistance with our upcoming charitable events as well.
Why do I need to pay $30?
We ask for $30.00 to help support the scheduled daniel events for the year, $5.00 is contributed to the catering for the food.
How are the funds used?
All of the money raised goes directly to daniel. Board members receive no salary or compensation for their time working with
Womenade. If you would like to get involved, please contact a board member.
